      The upper half of your horoscope will be dominant from the 23rd to the end of the year.

      Career seems successful now – Saturn, your career planet, is moving forward and will start to receive positive stimulation after the 23rd. It will receive even greater stimulation (power) next month. So go for the gold.

      Until the 23rd you are still in a serious work-orientated period. So continue to handle all those pesky details of your job that need to be done. Your focus on health, until the 23rd, is also very positive. For after the 23rd health is more delicate. The preventatives you take now will help you later on. As always, rest and relax more and do your best to maintain high energy levels. Avoid worry and anxiety – two demons that sap your energy and weaken your aura. Until the 8th enhance your health by paying more attention to your heart – note the reflexology points to the heart in our chart (page 22) and massage them regularly. (The heart is important after the 23rd as well.) After the 8th pay more attention to your small intestine. The right diet will become more important as well. After the 25th pay more attention to your kidneys and hips. Massage the hips regularly, and the reflexology points to the kidneys. After the 25th love problems – problems in your marriage or with friends – can have an impact on your physical health. Work to resolve these issues as best you can and you’ll feel a lot better physically.

      On the 23rd you enter a yearly social peak. So there is more dating, going out, more parties and gatherings happening. Singles are more interested in serious love, and can find it. Marriage, however, still doesn’t seem advisable this year. Let love develop slowly over time. There is a short-term love conflict from the 16th to the 19th. If you’re not careful it can tank a serious relationship. Try to roll with it – minimize the negativity. A good relationship can survive this. (A short-term financial crisis could happen during this period, too – it will pass. Finances are still basically healthy overall.)

      Your socializing this month will help your career. Friends are more supportive of your career than usual.

      The planets are now (after the 23rd) in their maximum western position. A strange feeling for you, for your normal independence is not there. Avoid enforcing your personal will, flow with events, curry favour with others and the tides of the universe will carry you to your destination. Yes, you will be making an effort, but it is the tide that will do the real work.

      Retrograde activity is still strong, but not as strong as last month. Jupiter, your travel planet, started to retrograde late last month and will be retrograde until the end of the year. Those of you planning long-distance travel might be better off rescheduling, but if you can’t, take more precautions – allow more time for the journey.

      Health still needs watching – and with your 6th house more or less empty this month you might have to force yourself to pay attention. As always, do your best to maintain high energy levels. Talk less, listen more. Rest when tired. You can also enhance health by keeping harmony in your marriage and friendships, by paying more attention to your kidneys and hips (until the 13th), and your colon, bladder and sexual organs (after the 13th). Safe sex and sexual moderation are important after the 13th. Though health needs watching all year, you should feel improvement after the 23rd.

      You are still very much in your yearly social peak. Singles have lots of love opportunities. But your passion for personal freedom, your need to stay uncommitted to anything, works against serious relationships.

      On the 9th Venus moves into Scorpio and your preferences in love shift. Of late you were interested in power and position, but now it is sexual magnetism that is paramount.

      You are still mixing with people of high power and prestige these days – especially early in the month. (This was also in effect late last month, too.) There are romantic opportunities with people of high status (and perhaps bosses). The Sun transits your career planet from the 11th to the 13th and this brings interesting and happy career opportunity. Children of appropriate age also have career opportunities then. (Actually career has been good from September 22 – last month – to the 23rd of this month. But the dates we mention are when the aspects are most exact.)

      On the 23rd your 8th house becomes very strong (it started to get strong on the 9th, but now it is at its greatest strength). This shows a sexually active period. Whatever your age or stage in life, the libido is stronger now. But there are other ways to channel the sexual drive: you can cultivate your occult studies, raise the sexual energy to a spiritual level and thus attain many spiritual gifts and powers, or investigate reincarnation and life after death.

      Financially, things are good. After the 9th you prosper by putting the financial interests of others ahead of your own. Your spouse, partner or current love prospers this month – he or she is in a yearly financial peak now and seems generous with you. If you have issues with insurance companies or estates, this is a good period to deal with these things. If you are looking to borrow or refinance, this is also a good period.

      Health is much improved this month, and will improve even further after the 23rd. You can enhance your health even further by paying more attention to your colon, bladder and sexual organs (until the 2nd) and to your liver and thighs afterwards. Massage your thighs regularly. (This advice is in addition to what we have written in the yearly report.) Your health planet will go retrograde on the 24th, so if you are making any major health changes, try to do so before then.

      Until the 23rd your 8th house is very strong. So you are still in a sexually active period. As mentioned last month, this period is good for detox regimes, investigating deep occult subjects, getting more involved with the spiritual aspects of sex, and dealing with estate issues or insurance claims. Probably your line of credit will increase this month (this could have happened last month as well).

      For singles, there is another shift in the love life. Last month it was sex appeal that turned you on, and while this is still important, you are looking for deeper things. You like someone you can learn from – someone highly educated. A guru or mentor type. Students can easily fall in love with their professors now, and laypeople with their minister. Sexual magnetism (if there is nothing else) has a life span of about eight to nine months. But a good philosophical compatibility, an ability to share and be intimate on the higher mental levels, will last a lot longer. A romantic evening these days can take the shape of a juicy philosophical discussion.
