СКАЧАТЬ started the jewelry business, well in truth,” Guy said between bites, “is that my grandfather was a jewelry designer, he could take any metal whether it was gold, silver, copper, and make the most beautiful jewelry that anybody could want. He passed that along to my father before he died, and when my father died, he had passed that along to me, but I never went into the design aspect of it. I learned everything about jewelry and how to run a jewelry business from them. They taught me everything I know. I hired only the best jewelry makers from around the world to make my jewelry. I have managers who run each store, but I am the overseer of them all. Nothing goes into my store without me inspecting it first, and making sure it is nothing but the best. So, like you Elisa, I run a tight business.”

“I too make sure that only the best designs are picked for my magazine and nothing gets approved without my say.” Elisa added.

“So I would say that you and I are a lot alike in so many ways,” Guy smiled.

“Hmm, I guess we are,” Elisa reiterated.

“Though, I want to ask you again if you would like to go to the Greek Isles with me. We would leave Friday and I would have you back in plenty of time for work Monday. We could sail on my yacht, make love and do some sightseeing, though making love may take away from a lot of that sightseeing,” Guy smiled mischievously.

Elisa sighed; she had not taken a vacation in such a long time because of her career. She was contemplating it. It sounded scrumptious. “Please, Elisa my dear,” Guy said when he saw her being reserved about it. “Just these two days. I will have my private plane all fueled up and we can be there in no time. It is faster than the Concorde.”

He took her hands in his. “I want to spend this weekend with you before I have to go to San Francisco to take care of some business with my store there. I promise I will have you back in plenty of time for your work.” How could she refuse, he was making an offer any woman in her right mind could not refuse. She contemplated it some more before saying,

“Okay, but you better have me back before Monday so I can be back at work.” Elisa implied, pointing her fork at Guy while half smiling.

“Oh thank you my Mon Cherie. You have made me a very happy man.” They finished their dinner and the waiter asked them if they would like anything else, like dessert. They said no and the waiter gave them their bill and took their plates. Guy left the money; with a generous tip for the waiter.

They headed back out to Elisa’s townhouse.

Kyle Rimmer lay under the Central Park Bridge looking up at the sky. His thoughts running back to his tour in Afghanistan and before his ex-wife left him. It was a beautiful night. He thought of the beautiful woman who had just glanced at him coming out of her office building. She looked at him, disgusted. He wondered what she was doing now in her high priced fancy world.

He knew he could never be a part of her world. Getting with someone like her was harder than climbing the mountains of Afghanistan. He fell asleep, his thoughts running rampant through his mind.

Elisa and Guy got back to her townhouse and Cora as always, had everything locked up and tidy just the way Elisa liked it. Guy carried Elisa up to her bedroom and they ravished each other as if this night for them would be their last on earth. He undressed her and she undressed him. He kissed her throat and she held her head back.

He took the hairpins that were holding her hair up out and let her hair fall down. “You are so beautiful Elisa, I have missed you terribly. Those nights in London were spectacular.” Guy said, breathing hard.

“Yes they were,” Elisa mumbled into his hair.

He lay on top of her on the bed. He grabbed her breast in his hands and started kissing them. He moved his head down to her stomach and touched her navel with his tongue. Elisa moaned. It had been a while since she had a man’s touch and felt his lips on her. He moved his tongue down to the V-shape of her womanhood. He grabbed her hips and brought her to him.

The moonlight was peeking into Elisa’s window, emanating light into the room. Their bodies were moist with perspiration. The moonlight made their love making all that more romantic. It was shining on Elisa’s auburn hair, giving it the glow of diamonds. Guy took his hand and ran in through her hair. Her violet eyes sparkled in the moonlight as she looked at him.

“I am a lucky man to have such a beautiful and lovely woman in my arms. You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.” She took him passionately with her lips and she felt his hardness against her. He lifted her up to him and she wrapped her legs around him. He entered her with all the might of a jackhammer being forced into the concrete.

Elisa cried out. Their heavy breathing and the racing of their hearts could be heard. It was ecstasy that could tremble the very walls of Elisa’s townhouse. They both climaxed and lay spent on her bed. Guy rubbed his hand on her cheek, “thank you, my Mon Cherie for giving me this night and for giving me the weekend to let me do this more often for you by taking you to the Greek Isles.”

He slid his finger to her lips and she kissed them. She could not let herself get attached to this man. She vowed that her life and her commitment were to her career. He was a very charismatic and handsome man that any woman would be lucky to have, but like in the past with others who had come before Guy, she could not let herself fall in love and take her away from all that she had worked so hard to acquire.

“You’re welcome my dear. You have given me much pleasure” Elisa whispered.

“I do my best,” Guy said kissing her eyes, her nose and then her lips. Once again, these sensual feelings of touch, reinvigorated Elisa and they continued to make love through the night.

      CHAPTER 3

“We are coming under heavy fire,” one soldier says. Kyle was hunkered down behind a rock on the mountain. It had been an intense firefight with the Taliban. “KYLE!”, his friend Garrett yelled, “You okay?”

“Yes sir I am,” Kyle shouted back. They were in the mountains of Tora Bora. They had gotten word that the leader of Al-Qaeda was hiding there.

They trudged up the mountains like the Vietnam Veterans trudged Hamburger Hill. Kyle’s good military friend Brett had been shot. He was bleeding profusely. Kyle had gotten up and started firing again while managing to get to his friend Brett.

“Come on man, you have got to survive. Don’t leave me man.” Kyle held Brett crying.

Brett looked up at Kyle and grabbed onto his arm. In Brett’s choking words, he told Kyle, “Please, tell my wife Ellie that I love her. Tell my daughter Dolly that I love her.”

“No man, you’re not going to die, not like this man,” Kyle cried. “We are going to get out of this and grow old. We are going to hang out together and share stories our kids can meet and be friends.” At that time, Kyle did not know that he would never have kids with his wife.

“I am not going to get out of this alive,” Brett choked, coughing up blood. “You have to promise me that you will tell my wife and child what I have asked you. Please, give my wife this letter and my daughter my dog tags, I want her to know that her father died with honor and courage. That he died defending her freedoms and to always remember that СКАЧАТЬ
