СКАЧАТЬ meaning “He Who Sees God,” is the Chief of the Order of Powers. The Druids considered him the god of war. Naturally, he is the angelic guardian of the planetary realm of Mars (the Roman god of war). He is referred to as “the talisman of the angels”; thus the word cameo comes from this angel’s name, Camael.

      • Michael (beauty, or some say splendor) is the Chief of Archangels, Protector of the Presence (of God), and Chief of the Order of Virtues. He is the Angel of Repentance, Righteousness, Mercy, and Sanctification. His name means, “Who is as God.” He rules the 4th Heaven and is the guardian angel of Israel (but Israel in the sense of all who seek God). He is conqueror of Satan (see 12th chapter of the Revelation). His secret name is Sabbathiel (Lord of the Sabbath, “the intermission”), indicating that when humans rest from their willful doing and when they seek God as opposed to selfish interests, he protects them. His mission, according to Cayce’s readings, is as “the lord [or guard] of the Way, not the Way but the lord of the Way, hence disputed with the influence of evil . . .” (5749-3)

      • Haniel (victory) means Grace of God, Glory of God, or “He Who Sees God.” He is Chief of the Order of Principalities and governor of Venus, as was the Chaldean angel Ishtar. His powers were often evoked by the use of an amulet. His name has been found on many ancient amulets.

      • Raphael (splendor, or some say beauty) means “God has Healed.” He is one of the presences with powers over diseases and wounds that afflict the children of men. He is one of the three angels that Abraham questioned about saving Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 18; the other two were believed to be Michael and Gabriel). Legend holds that Raphael handed Noah a book of healing after he landed and was to begin repopulating the world. He is the Angel of the Sun, Prince of the Second Heaven, Chief of the Virtues, Guardian of the Tree of Life, and the Angel of Healing. He is credited as the angel who troubled the healing waters at Bethesda (John 5). This water healed the first to step in it. In The Book of Tobit (a book of the Old Testament Apocrypha), the archangel Raphael is mentioned.

      • Gabriel (foundation) means “God is My Strength.” In the three religions of “The Book” (Bible)—Judaism, Christianity, and Islam—he is one of the top two angels, along with Michael. He and Michael are the only two angels named directly in the Old Testament (other angels are secretly known but not named). Cayce’s readings state, “Gabriel is, to be sure, the Announcer.” (5277-1) Gabriel presides over Paradise and is the ruler of the First Heaven. Mohammed said Gabriel (Jibril, in Islam) dictated the Koran to him. Gabriel is the Guardian Angel of the Ismaelites (the Arabs). He is the angel who appeared to the prophet Daniel and told him all about the future of his people, and was the first to announce the coming of the Messiah. Legend holds that Gabriel was the man-angel that Jacob wrestled with to gain his blessing and new name, Israel. (Genesis 32:24)

      • Metatron (kingdom) means the “lesser Yahweh,” ruler of the first emanation, who also rules this tenth and final emanation. This is the only emanation that is able to contain God’s initial expressive explosion of light, life, and consciousness. No other emanation could contain such power and intensity.

       Other Angels

On occasion, another angel spoke through the “sleeping” Cayce. An angelic being named Halaliel (pronounced Ha-la-lee-EL or Ha-la-leel) first identified himself through the trance-state Cayce on October 15, 1933, during a Study Group reading on the lesson titled, “Day and Night,” and spoke through Cayce off and on for about three years. There had been fifty-five readings given to this Study Group at that time. Occasionally, messages had come through the sleeping Cayce from other entities in the spirit realms, but never before was the complete reading credited to a single spirit entity. The reading began and continued as usual, but it ended on a strange note. Here is the last question of this reading and the answer given.

Q: Comment upon the following . . . does it carry any light of truth?

The Creator, in seeking to find or create a being worthy of companionship, realized that such a being would result only from a free will exercising its divine inheritance and through its own efforts find its Maker. Thus, to make the choice really a Divine one caused the existence of states of consciousness, that would indeed tax the free will of a soul; thus light and darkness. Truly, only those tried so as by fire can enter in.

A: The only variation that we would make is that all souls in the beginning were one with the Father. The separation, or turning away, brought evil. Then there became the necessity of the awareness of self’s being out of accord with, or out of the realm of blessedness; and, as given of the Son, “yet learned he obedience through the things which he suffered.”

COME, my children! Ye no doubt have gained from the comment this day, a new initiate has spoken in or through this channel; Halaliel [?], that was with those in the beginning who warred with those that separated themselves and became as naught.

      262-56

The closing line is referring to the legendary battle between the angels of rebellion, led by Lucifer, and the angels of light, led by Michael. Apparently, Halaliel was among those angels of light that warred with the separating angels, who later became known as the Fallen Angels.

The next time Halaliel is mentioned by the sleeping Cayce is on October 24, 1933, at the morning reading. This time the reading is a “research reading” dealing with the subjects of psychic phenomena, spirit-ism, and spiritualism. The reading ends very strangely again, giving a list of entities who can be of help in gaining a better understanding of these concepts, instructing the conductor (Gertrude Cayce, Edgar’s wife) to call upon these “forces” to be present for the next reading.

The forces gathered here may be used in gaining this concept. As ye seek, ask first if all these are present: Lamech, Confucius, Tamah, Halaliel, Hebe, Ra, Ra-Ta, John.

      5756-10

That very afternoon, at the 3 p.m. reading, Gertrude began the reading in accord with the morning suggestion.

GC (Gertrude Cayce): If the “forces” Lamech, Confucius, Tamah, Halaliel, Hebe, Ra, Ra-Ta, John are present, we seek the answer to the following question.

      5756-11

Gladys’ notes at the end of this reading include this statement: “Edgar Cayce said on waking that he would like to always feel surrounded by as helpful influences as he did this time.”

On January 7, 1934, the fifty-seventh Study Group reading was given, and one of those in attendance asked, “Who is Halaliel?” Here’s the answer:

One in and with whose courts Ariel fought when there was the rebellion in heaven. Now, where is heaven? Where is Ariel, and who was he? A companion of Lucifer or Satan, and one that made for the disputing of the influences in the experiences of Adam in the Garden.

      262-57

Clearly, we are dealing with the legendary war of the angels. All of the angels were originally created in the image of the Creator, but through the misuse of free will, some rebelled against the cooperative spirit of Oneness. This rebellion would not be allowed; it was like a cancer in the Universal Consciousness. So, they were driven from heaven until such time that they repented of their self-seeking ways and re-attuned themselves to the Creator’s harmonious spirit of oneness. Notice that the literal meanings of their names are quite beautiful and powerful, as they were originally intended to be: Ariel means “lion of God” and Lucifer means “light giver.” The name Satan is actually from a Hebrew word that simply means “adversary.” This is why the Messiah is often called the “advocate”; he is СКАЧАТЬ
