Background Information
Dear Reader,
This new book is part of an agreement made prior to our embodiment in this lifetime. My husband, Martin and I have been collaborating for close to twenty years now. In that time we have learned many lessons from the Ascended Masters and other beings of Light who have chosen to be connected with us as we’ve fulfilled our agreement to share their wisdom and guidance in numerous publications.
Who are the beings who communicate their messages with us in this latest venture? For those of you who have not (yet) read the previous book from the same sources, Telling it Like it Is: Messages from Beyond, here is some background information:
Paul Newman needs no further introduction. The first conscious communication with Paul Newman occurred shortly after he passed away from cancer in 2008. I’d been driving through his old neighborhood in Shaker Heights, Ohio which was also my old neighborhood, and I felt his presence very strongly there. I assumed he was revisiting childhood haunts, which is not unusual for the recently departed. In addition to sharing the same childhood neighborhood, albeit twenty years apart, I had made friends with a friend of his who’d taught at Kenyon College and spent time with Paul when he’d return to his Alma Mater for guest appearances.
So, I did feel a bit of a connection with him, although it didn’t seem strong enough for the events that followed.
That day, about three years ago, as I drove past the street where he had lived, we “connected” energetically. Paul was attracted to the Light and the beings of Light who are with us constantly, and he came near me to see what this Light was and to see if he could find out more about it. He then realized I was thinking of him, and became aware that we could consciously communicate. So, he stayed with me to see if we could connect for more than a fleeting thought.
When first he spoke to me he complained how hard it was to get past a group of dearly departed that shield me from receiving unwanted visitors from the other planes. He dubbed my father, Martin’s father, and other family members and friends “The Lions at the Gate” who guard me well. I’ve kept the name, even though it was said with sardonic wit, because it fits my higher-plane companions well.
An amazing series of communications followed, some of which made it into a newsletter. Paul led me to understand that he was moving quickly into the Light. He’d done quite a bit of work prior to his departure to be ready for the tasks he would assume from the higher planes. He’d resolved a great deal of karma and was ready to share his advice and wisdom.
Karampal Singh, however, is not exactly a household name. Martin and I have a very close and personal relationship with Karampal Singh not only in this lifetime, but eternally. We are from the same original spark of Light from Infinite Source, then split into three parts instead of the usual two, manifesting as two Yang and one Yin energy. The term often used to describe our relationship is Twin Flame. More details regarding our relationship and history can be found in my autobiography, AGREEMENTS.
Even prior to Karampal’s transition we were often in contact with him on the higher planes. He lived in India and we were living in the United States at that time, but this did not impede our energetic connection. During his lifetime we also visited with him in India several times.
During the last hours of his embodiment, his children called to inform us that he was nearing the end of his life; we sat in meditation and helped him cross over. Our connection with him became instantly filled with a glorious Light as he left his physical form and was fully engulfed in his Light. Ever since we have stayed profoundly connected with him.
We have remained in close contact with Karampal's son Amandeep and his daughter Namita. They have read the fruits of our first collaboration between Paul and their father and absolutely know that this is their father speaking to them. They have found his messages useful as they try to penetrate a deeper understanding of their father's beliefs. This has been gratifying for Martin and for me to be able to offer this support to them as they continue to grieve their loss on this plane. But now they know with absolute certainty that he is with them constantly. This has been a great comfort to them as they move through their lives as young adults.
.. .. ..
It's taken me awhile to get myself to a place where I was once again willing to turn my life over to Paul and Karampal and let them share their next set of messages. They have been very eager to begin. I have not, for many reasons. First, they do literally take over my waking hours when I am writing. Their thoughts become my thoughts and even when I am not sitting at the computer, sentences are popping up in my head. Paul's analogy in the last book of “horses at the gate ready to begin a race” is apt. Once the gate opens, I have to exercise a great deal of mental agility to remember that I also have a life away from the books. A life that involves my husband, our children, relatives, clients, and friends. It's a challenging balancing act for me.
Martin and I have been repeatedly reminded that we were Rishis, some of the people who wrote the ancient Hindu texts in Sanskrit. These texts have come down through the ages to form not only the basis of religious thought in India, but have also influenced Buddhism and Judeo-Christian theology. Sanskrit is considered to be the mother of many other languages. The letters and words have sacred meanings that are still understood and revered by the students of Sanskrit today. It's an interesting concept to consider when applied to a wider context.
All of this information has added an extra weight on our shoulders as we are counseled by the Beings of Light to understand that what we are writing here are, in effect, renditions of those ancient texts in a language that can be readily understood by the modern reader. Paul and Karampal's contribution is to make these messages more accessible as they speak in a vernacular that leaves little doubt as to the meaning of what they convey.
