      The word, alien, automatically conjures up mental images of a being that we are supposed to be afraid of simply because it is in some way different from us. This is simply not the case regarding our extraterrestrial ascended guides. They may appear to be physically different from us; however, they are our universal siblings, having attained a higher level of spiritual awakening than we, and their purpose is to help us gain spiritual enlightenment.

      Certainly they are otherworldly, but they are not aliens in the emotional sense. They are part of the one Source just as we are part of the one Source. We have nothing to fear in meeting and communicating with our extraterrestrial ascended guides. Our extraterrestrial guides are willing and able to help us along the path of enlightenment if we choose to allow ourselves to be in relationship with them. They will not force themselves on us if we choose not to be in relationship with them.

      In all of this discussion you may be wondering about the phenomenon of abduction as it relates to what you just read. There are three basic reasons for perceived or real abduction phenomenon, none of which have to do with the ascended soul guides you will meet via the techniques in this book. I will address these three reasons to clear the air of misinformation as follows: (1) the abduction experience is simply a fearful perception of a helpful overture by extraterrestrial beings based on cultural assumptions about the danger of “the other”; (2) very few extraterrestrial races are spiritually imbalanced, but they do rarely abduct humans and other beings against our wills; (3) the government is sometimes involved in human abduction for research purposes (physical and psychological), and they make it appear to be an extraterrestrial abduction so as to recuse themselves from blame or repercussions. I am certainly not a conspiracy theorist, but the last reason is the most prevalent cause of abduction phenomenon.

      First, the abduction experience may simply be a fearful perception based on cultural assumptions of a friendly extraterrestrial overture. Think about most of the people you know (or know of), and their reactions or comments in any conversation regarding extraterrestrials. Most people, if not overtly fearful, are at least latently anxious concerning the mere existence of extraterrestrial beings. They are even more fearful when considering the chance of an extraterrestrial encounter. Assuming your acquaintance’s overt or latent fear of what is actually a friendly overture from extraterrestrial beings imagine their perspective of anything that happens during an invitation or face-to-face meeting with extraterrestrials.

      Even here on earth motivations are so easily misunderstood between cultures. As a humorous example, think of the fact that in some cultures belching after a meal is considered a compliment. In other cultures it is considered the epitome of rudeness. Why would we think motivations are less misunderstood extra-terrestrially?

      Because most of us are wired a certain way from a very early age to be afraid of anything we do not understand, it is natural for us to be fearful of an extraterrestrial encounter if we do not properly process what is actually occurring. We are so accustomed to living in the 3-D “physical” world that many of us are unable to process events outside of this perceived reality.

      Having attitudes of love and feelings of expectation toward your ascended guide will help tear down the barriers of fear and misperception when your meeting actually occurs. The rites and exercises given in this book also work to change your perception of the universe around you so you will be more open to the meeting with your extraterrestrial ascended guide when it finally happens.

      Second, as you will read about in the spiritual background section, parts of the Universe exist in chosen spiritual imbalance. This is not to say that certain beings are evil, but that they may not be in a state of full awakening with universal perfection. This second possibility as an explanation for the abduction experience is the least common, particularly when the human being inviting an ascended soul guide into her life is spiritually and emotionally enlightened. We draw like energy to ourselves and the possibility exists, though it is unlikely, that imbalanced energy will draw to itself imbalanced extraterrestrial beings.

      The Ascended Soul Guide Connections workshop and the exercises within this book include positive thought energy techniques designed to draw positive beings. One really does not need to worry that some “evil” extraterrestrial will snatch and devour you. This is a caricature developed by Hollywood because it sells better.

      Third, the government is sometimes involved in human abductions for psychological or physical research purposes, and they make it appear to be an extraterrestrial abduction so as to recuse themselves from blame or repercussions. This is the most common reason for abduction experiences by far. It is convenient to make a scapegoat of extraterrestrials. It is also true that governments all around the world are working with some imbalanced extraterrestrial races for purposes unknown.

      Gabriel and Yeshua have not shared the exact plans these governments and imbalanced extraterrestrials have in mind because they prefer that we focus on positivity and spiritual growth. Everything is on its way back to reunion with the Source even if it does not appear to be so within our limited perception. It is a waste of time to focus on imbalance when we have the chance to become enlightened by following the Light.

      There are currently two agendas in which extraterrestrial beings are involved here on earth. The first is the spiritual agenda of our extraterrestrial ascended guides. This agenda is designed to assist us in reaching spiritual enlightenment and in showing us better ways to live personally and as an entire race. Our guides would never lead us in a wrong direction, encourage us to do something that would be harmful, or attempt to enslave us physically, emotionally or spiritually. The second agenda is that of the imbalanced extraterrestrial races. Most of them are working in conjunction with governments around the world to enslave people both spiritually and physically.

      There is this spiritual struggle of freedom vs. enslavement going on, and we have to choose our path in this struggle. Our ascended guides will help us in overcoming the agenda of the imbalanced powers. We must not see our path as good and the imbalanced path as evil though. Everything is part of one Source and has a reason for existing. Perhaps the imbalanced path exists to push us towards the balanced, spiritually enlightened path.

      We have a choice to make: are we going to live in fear of our extraterrestrial siblings at the expense of our spiritual growth, or will we recognize that our human perception is inherently flawed and that we often see only what we are programmed to see? The choice is yours, and I pray with all sincerity you choose spiritual growth. I would love to join you in the journey of welcoming our extraterrestrial brothers and sisters and learning from them.

      One way that our extraterrestrial ascended guides are directly involved in human affairs concerns governmental weapons of mass destruction programs. UFO activity is very heavy around nuclear and military sites for this reason. Our guides are observing and attempting to positively intervene in the absurd human insistence on destroying ourselves. Many military witnesses attest to heavy UFO phenomenon around such sites. Extraterrestrial beings have even been known to disable certain missiles in mid-air or on the ground. Our extraterrestrial ascended guides are also involved in projects that prevent humanity (or a large part of humanity) from being destroyed by natural events.

      There are books out there that seem to focus on extraterrestrial messages of doom and destruction. In those books, there is more of a focus on destruction and fear than on building up the spirit and freedom. Gabriel and Yeshua insist that the emotionally and spiritually healthy path is the one that avoids focusing on negativity of all kinds.

      Everything is part of one stream, all flowing to the Source. We cannot differentiate bad occurrences from good occurrences, but we must travel with the flow of the stream. In so doing we may encounter uncomfortable circumstances or scenarios, but these are ultimately part of reaching the Source and are necessary encounters. Follow the common adage, and “Go with the flow.”
