Авторы исследований [Dessein, 2002; Aghion, Tirole, 1997] рассматривают проблему издержек получения стратегической информации с акцентом на стратегический менеджмент и динамику рынка.

      Исследование централизации в закупках проводятся сравнительно недавно. В статье [McCue, Pitzer, 2000] приводится определение централизованных закупок и интересный обзор последних тенденций в централизации и децентрализации в закупочных системах. Дополнительная информация о тенденциях в государственных закупках может быть найдена в работах [Thai, Grimm, 2000; Neef, 2001; Piga, Zanza, 2004].

      Проблемы закупок в чрезвычайных обстоятельствах, дублирования функций и задержки поставок анализируются в статье [Bolton, Farrell,1990]. Фаворитизм и коррупция рассматриваются в работах [Celentani, Ganuza, 2002; Vagstad, 2000]. Отношения между электронными закупками, IT-архитектурой и централизацией обсуждаются в исследованиях [Chang, Shaw, 2005; Somasundaram, 2004; Subramaniam, Shaw, 2003; Subramaniam, Qualls, Shaw, 2002; Moon, 2005].
