Thousands are Ministering to God in Heaven
As you can see, ministering to God always brought His presence into their midst where God would meet with them as they followed God’s pattern. David took this foundational pattern and appointed the worshipers around the Ark of the Covenant which signified the presence of the Almighty God. Yet they were not alone in worshiping God. There are thousands upon thousands that are ministering to God in heaven right now. Daniel and John saw into heaven at the worship that happens there and how we can mimic it.
Daniel saw Father God as the Ancient of Days and thousands were ministering to Him. “I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him” (Daniel 7:9-10, emphasis added).
John the Revelator saw the same pattern of the heavenly temple with its golden censors, incense, and golden altar, but he also saw the angels, the beasts, the twenty-four elders, and God’s throne (Revelation 7:15; 8:3-4; 9:13; 11:19). As did Daniel, John saw millions of people ministering before the throne, worshiping the Ancient of Days saying that God had made them as kings and priests. “…for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;…And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever” (Revelation 5:9-14, emphasis added). Again, we see that worship is ministering before the throne of God.
David knew about this pattern of worship in heaven just as Moses did. In 1 Chronicles 28:19 David records, “All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.” David was able to see beyond the blood sacrifices and dutiful religion to what God really wanted, service and ministry from the heart.
In January 2014 I had two dreams in one night about the priestly role of worship. Following is the details of the first dream:
Dream of the Priest and the Worship
Bobby and I were at a church and the pastor was giving us a tour of the building. A little while later the musicians and worship leaders came and started the worship service. At first we were on the platform then the dream shifted and all three of us were standing between the seats in the sanctuary. There were only about a hundred people there, but they truly worshiped God.
All of a sudden, from the left came crimson red blood gushing through the sanctuary. What was so unusual was that the blood bubbled forward like it was hot. It ran between the altar and the front seats, covering that entire area which was about six feet wide, yet it never came beyond the front seats of the sanctuary. The blood bubbled and gushed down the hallway to my right and stopped at a white door. I stood motionless as I watched this in astonishment.
I supposed the people were just as amazed as I was because none of them stepped forward to get into the blood, except for one man. I watched this man go forward and lay down face-first in this blood which was about two inches thick. He was so hungry for God and cried out in heart-felt prayers. As I stood in amazement, I was surprised that no else went forward to get into the blood. I was frozen in this state of wonderment, yet I continued looking to see what would be next.
As I was looking at this blood on the floor, the Lord opened my spiritual eyes, and I saw movement inside the blood like a video. I could see the dark, thick blood yet it was transparent. I was witnessing a high priest, dressed in full attire, standing before the altar making a sacrifice. I stood in amazement knowing that I was the only one seeing this event happening.
The pastor looked at me and invited me to step into the blood, so I did. Then he stepped in with me and led me down this hallway filled with the pathway of blood. He walked with me all the way to the end and we stopped at the door, where I just stood waiting for it to open. I was awakened, prior to the door opening and I did not remember if Bobby walked down the hallway with us because I was in a state of bewilderment.
Understanding the Dream
While I was in my dream I knew that when I saw the high priest making a blood sacrifice during the worship that this was Davidic Worship I was witnessing. Although I do not understand everything in the dream, I definitely know that the priestly function is always coupled with the blood sacrifices. Jesus Christ was crucified and his blood was sprinkled, and now He is resurrected and stands as the High Priest in heaven (Hebrews 4:14). Therefore, I understand that Davidic Worship is a priestly function of ministering to God, and will always be covered in the blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus paved the way for us to worship in heavenly places, but it requires us to step into His blood to go into the heights of worship He wants to take us.
Stepping Into your Priestly Position
In general worship services, the typical mindsets are to be ministered to or to be fed; but in Davidic Worship, it is about fulfilling the priestly role of ministering to God. Because you are now seated with Christ in heavenly places, you have already been granted the power and authority to come boldly into His presence (Hebrews 4:16). You step into that position of power and authority when you begin to minister directly to God. You hold the key to God’s heart, and you choose to execute or not; no one, not even Satan, can take your position.
The entire purpose the priests entered into the Holy Place and Most Holy Place was to minister to God. It was only after ministering to God did they turn to bless the people and then the glory of God manifested in their presence and all their needs were supplied (Leviticus 9:22-24). If we want to see the glory of God manifesting in our services or in our lives, ministering to God must come first. Furthermore, Jesus Christ wants to empower us just as He did the seventy to go out to heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out demons, and preach the gospel. That all starts with our knowledge of God and ministering to Him.
As we take our places and come before God to worship Him in spirit and in truth, we will enter into the realms of His glory, His peace, His love, and many other places. When we minister directly to God for ourselves, the keys to the kingdom of heaven will come open to us. It is here where we receive directly from God what we need. If we need healing, deliverance, or help, it is here; if we need prayers answered, we can receive them. There is no harm for someone to lay hands on us and pray for our healing, but if we can go directly to God and receive it for ourself, it is totally exhilarating! And isn’t this what God really wants to happen? Isn’t this God’s plan from the beginning? He longs for us to minister to Him in the priest’s office. He absolutely desires to meet with you personally in the Most Holy Place and for you to experience Him in all His glory!
The Glory of the Tabernacles
Moses heard the call of God’s thunderous voice as it shook the earth beneath his feet. God was coming down just to meet Moses at the tabernacle. As Moses passed by the people with his face veiled, all the people arose, held their breath, and stood at their tent door. They continued looking until Moses entered into the tabernacle and the cloud СКАЧАТЬ
