СКАЧАТЬ Революции 2011 года не были «предопределены» изначально. Этот разрыв не был просто «естественным последствием» тектонических сдвигов или положения звезд – он с самого начала был порожден сознательной борьбой.

      И неслучайно то, что эта борьба с самого начала была глубоко антисектантской, по форме и по содержанию. Антисектантские знамена, лозунги и гимны царили над площадью Тахрир в Египте во время восстания против Мубарака, и были слоганами ранних стадий восстаний в Сирии и Бахрейне. Революционная волна также породила массовое движение против сектантства в Ливане – впервые за десятилетия. Это было не случайное явление, а выражение классового содержания революции – отражение реальных классовых интересов, объединяющих бедняков и рабочих всего региона против неолиберализма и империализма.
