      Candice Henry is an author and communicator with a passion for youth leadership development. She enjoys investing into the lives of young women and has spoken at multiple conferences for teens. Candice graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications and is completing her master’s degree in executive leadership through Liberty University. She has been involved in youth leadership training for 13 years and youth ministry for 4 years. As a former Miss Liberty and an avid blogger, Candice combines her writing and communication skills to share truths about beauty, purpose, and achieving dreams. She also enjoys traveling, event styling, and reading.

      We’re so thrilled that you’re joining us for the ongoing conversation we’re going to have over the next few days. And really, a conversation is how we hope you’ll see these sessions. We see this as a dialogue between the both of us and you! Whether you’re sitting in your room with a cup of tea, journal, and a pen; meeting with a group of friends; or perched on a stool in your favorite cafe, coffee in hand we’re imagining that we’re joining you for a few moments to just chat. There are a lot of things that happen in life, and while we definitely don’t claim to know it all, we have experienced a lesson or two that we deemed worthy of sharing. Our hope is that you’ll find something in it that speaks to you, right where you are now. We highly encourage you to journal your thoughts as you go through each session. It’s important to invest time in God’s word and to write down anything that He reveals to you, as well as your response to some of the questions and ideas that are posed each day. Through the stories, celebrations, mistakes, and experiences we’re about to share are truths that will benefit you also. Our desire is that you learn from what we’ve done, gain an answer to a question you might have, grow in who you are, and find God’s best for your life, as that is the foremost important thing. Without faith, life as we know it could not be possible, and it is only by the grace of God that either of us could be able to share a little bit of our lives with you. So, go grab your favorite coffee or tea, and enjoy these next few moments of real talk. This is from me—well, us—to you.
